The project "Personal Medical Assistants" was launched for Novgorod residents

The project "Personal Medical Assistants" has been launched in Veliky Novgorod. This is a special service that is already operating in three clinics, its employees help patients receive medical care, including answering questions.
"It was decided to create a small support service as personal assistants to help our doctors and patients. We have allocated such an employee in our polyclinic. This is the administrator of our registry, who is ready to answer all questions of interest to patients both in person and by phone during working hours, from Monday to Friday. For example, how to make an appointment, whether a specific doctor is on vacation, how to undergo a particular type of examination, or other explanatory questions," says Veronika ARKHIPOVA, a general practitioner, head of Polyclinic No. 3 of the Central City Clinical Hospital of Veliky Novgorod.
Personal assistants can also help with patient routing. This, the regional health ministry notes, will help save time for clinic visitors and relieve doctors of their workload.
